MINYANVILLE ORIGINAL Facebook (FB) amended its S-1 for the seventh time confirming rumors that the company will float another 50.6 million extra shares at an upwardly revised price range of $34-$38 per share. Assuming a midpoint of $36 per share the company will raise $12.1 billion from the offering which is more than Google (GOOG) earned when it debuted on public markets. Bloomberg reports that Apple (AAPL) will ship the next version of the MacBook Pro with Intel (INTC) Ivy Bridge processors. The new laptops will feature Nvidia (NVDA) graphics chips rather than the current Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) GPUs.

Today In Commodities: Still Heading Lower?
By Matthew Bradbard:
Energy: Crude will finish the week lower but the key to me was June held onto the $96 level heading into the weekend. Prices have gone from overbought to oversold in less than two weeks by shaving off 10% in value. My take is traders can scale into longs looking to add to the trade when prices get back above $98.50. On a trade below $95 cut losses. RBOB continues to dance around the $3 level. I cannot rule out sideways action as RBOB will likely look for guidance from crude. A settlement above $3.05 in June will get bulls back in control. Heating oil like RBOB is sideways in a 5 cent trading range just under $3/gallon. Being we’ve completed a 61.8% Fibonacci retracement and prices are holding their own so I think we can wade back into longs. $2.95 will need to hold for me to keep my

Significance Of Rhodium Price For The Automotive Industry
By Katchum:
Rhodium is a metal in the platinum group metals group (PGM) that nobody really knows about in the investor world. It isn’t traded online through futures, while gold, silver and platinum are. You can only buy this metal physically through dealers which makes this metal perfectly unmanipulated. So I am very keen on using rhodium prices to find correlations in the macro-economic world as they are a very reliable indicator.
Rhodium prices are extremely inelastic, which means that its price is very dependent on supply and demand. If there is no supply and a lot of demand for rhodium, the price will skyrocket. The rhodium market is very small compared to the gold market and will have high volatility and low liquidity. For example, prices in 2003 were below $US 1000/ounce, but went up to $US 10000/ounce, which is a tenfold increase (Chart 1).
